The Kiwanis Club of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada is currently developing plans for a Children`s "Safety Village" that will provide training for children on general safety, bicycle, motorcycle, snowmobile, etc.... safety. Club President Chris Menard indicates that plans are going well and the club is working with local government and other partners towards making this project a reality. Edmonton`s Oil Capital Club was very generous in recently providing a cheque for $20,000 to the Kiwanis Club of Sherwood Park, towards the Safety Village project.
